Social Engagement in Online Learning

The course includes an e-Learning program of 5 modules made on Articulate Storyline for online teachers in Adult General Education at the Lester B. Pearson School Board. 

The course objective is for online teachers to cultivate social engagement when the teach online synchronous classes. 

By identifying the benefits of social engagement, explaining how courses should be structured to facilitate social engagement, overcoming obstacles to common challenges in breakout rooms, applying practical tips and evaluating the quality of breakout rooms, teachers will be better prepared to integrate this important feature of online teaching and learning. 

Learners will also be provided with a workbook and links to further resources.
